Bailey Zimmerman has successfully avoided criminal charges after prosecutors dismissed the case related to allegations of damaging his hotel room in New Mexico.
The country music artist’s attorney informed TMZ that Zimmerman promptly accepted responsibility for his actions, leading to a swift resolution from the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office.
The District Attorney’s Office communicated to KRQE News in Albuquerque that the charges were dropped after Zimmerman completed full restitution for the damages incurred at the hotel.
Zimmerman faced a serious felony charge for criminal damage exceeding $1,000, along with a misdemeanor charge for allegedly obtaining services fraudulently.
Reports indicate that Zimmerman reportedly caused extensive damage to his hotel room at the Sandia Resort & Casino in May, following an incident where he consumed excessive alcohol before a concert that was later canceled. The estimated damage amounted to $16,000, and he also left unpaid a $400 bill for drinks.
In a statement to TMZ, Zimmerman expressed his regret, stating that he takes full responsibility for the incident and is sincerely sorry for the consequences of his actions.
