Lestat rocks out in ‘Interview With The Vampire’ Season 3 teaser

Anne Rice stans, places your arms up! Rock icon (and vampire) Lestat de Lioncourt takes heart stage in AMC’s teaser for Interview with the Vampire Season 3, an adaptation of Rice’s sequel novel The Vampire Lestat.

Within the clip, first shared throughout the IWTV panel at San Diego Comedian-Con, Lestat (Sam Reid) walks into an on-camera interview run by an offscreen Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) — the identical journalist who interviewed Lestat’s former(?) lover Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) within the first and second seasons. Lestat proceeds to be the diva that everyone knows and love him to be: refusing hair and make-up; asking them to take a goblet of blood away; commenting on the sound man’s dehydration, and simply general exuding sass and conceitedness.

The all-too-short teaser ends with a montage of Lestat at varied factors of this interview — laughing, crying, and looking out typically menacing on the digicam. That is soundtracked by Lestat’s personal music, “Why the Lengthy Face?” Maybe AMC is asking us this, as a result of there is not any premiere date but for Season 3.

In line with TV Insider, although, govt producer Rolin Jones listed off quite a few inspirations for Lestat’s music on the panel, together with Chappell Roan. Whereas we look forward to extra data, we’re holding out for a Chappell cameo in IWTV Season 3.
