Samantha trains in martial arts for Citadel prep, goes off social media

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is an avid social media user. She often interacts with her fans and followers on Instagram and Twitter. Whenever a netizen tries to troll her, the actress gives it back ot the troll in a sassy way. However, of late, the actress has been keeping low on social media. According to the latest media report, Samantha is trying to keep herself away from social media platforms. To cut it short, the Kushi actress is reportedly on a social media detox.

IS SAMANTHA ON SOCIAL MEDIA DETOX?

As per a Pinkvilla report, Samantha is apparently prepping up for her role in the Russo Brothers’ project, Citadel. And it seems that’s the reason she’s keeping a distance from social media. “There’s too much happening around and Sam is a person who wants to invest all her energy on herself and nothing else. She is on a social media detox and is prepping up for her role in the Russo Brothers’ Citadel. She is training in martial arts as a part of her prep. Expect a movie release date announcement soon by Sam of her upcoming film,” a source told the entertainment portal.

SAMANTHA KEEN TO WORK WITH VICKY KAUSHAL?

Meanwhile, IndiaToday.in has exclusively learnt that Samantha is keen to work with Vicky Kaushal in a film. “The makers had approached Samantha. Vicky Kaushal and Samantha were being thought of for the same film. While The Immortal Ashwatthama is not shelved, it is still on hold. As far as Samantha is concerned, the actress is in talks with people to check if she can do another film with Vicky. Samantha has kept her dates open and is keen on working with Vicky Kaushal,” a source told us.

On the work front, Samantha has Yashoda, Shaakuntalam and Kushi lined up for release.
