Dolly Parton Ongoing Family Turmoil … Niece Dismissed During Estate Dispute
Published
Dolly Parton‘s family estate turmoil continues as sources reveal that her niece has been dismissed shortly after the grand opening of Dolly’s much-anticipated museum.
Insiders report to TMZ that Dolly’s estate management has terminated her niece, Rebecca Seaver, sister to Bryan Seaver, from her role overseeing the archives and museum operations.
Sources indicate that Rebecca was not alone in her dismissal; her entire team was also let go, although the specific number of employees affected remains unclear.
This shake-up follows the recent launch of Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum, which opened its doors on September 29 within her SongTeller Hotel located in downtown Nashville. Rebecca played a significant role as the executive director, collaborating closely with Dolly’s sister, Rachel Parton George, to realize this project.
As previously reported, Dolly’s manager, Danny Nozell, also dismissed Rebecca’s brother, Bryan, who had been serving as Dolly’s head of security for over two decades, back in September.
Bryan and his security firms were ordered to vacate all properties owned by Dolly, including her Nashville residence, museum, and warehouse.
The situation escalated further, with Danny filing a lawsuit against Bryan, alleging that he made threats and attempted to coerce the estate for financial gain. Bryan has denied any wrongdoing, asserting that his communications were misinterpreted.
As reported by TMZ earlier, Dolly amassed an extensive collection of costumes, jewelry, and personal memorabilia throughout her illustrious career, with sources indicating that her collection could easily “fill a Nordstrom.”
Dolly passed away on August 25 at the age of 80.
