Warren Hudson Discusses His Connection to Nolan Wells Brandon Tatum’s Surprising Lack of Prior Knowledge

Journalist Brandon Tatum revealed that he had no prior acquaintance with Mississippi Chancery Court Judge Ashlee Cole or the family of Warren Hudson before they contacted him. This statement counters claims suggesting he was selected due to an existing relationship.
The host of “Officer Tatum Show” engaged with “TMZ In the Know” to reflect on the tragic passing of Nolan Wells. He addressed rumors implying that Cole reached out to him due to his conservative viewpoints, believing they would provide a supportive platform for Warren’s family.
Tatum emphasized that he had never conversed with Cole before her approach, stating that it is natural for a grieving parent to seek someone they trust to share their loved one’s story accurately. He drew a parallel to Nolan’s mother, Christine Wonsley, who sought the expertise of attorney Ben Crump to advocate for her family in the aftermath of her son’s death.
Tatum also refuted allegations that Cole’s role as a judge presents a conflict of interest in this case. He clarified that she oversees family court matters and does not hold jurisdiction over criminal investigations.
He remarked that if Cole had the influence some critics allege, Warren would not be publicly accused of murdering his best friend or require a social media platform to share his side of the story.
As previously reported by TMZ, Warren appeared alongside Tatum for an interview where he firmly stated he had no involvement in Nolan’s death or any alleged manipulation of the teen’s phone.
He also asserted that Nolan had declined multiple requests to leave Horn Island with his friends before he went missing.
