Taylor Swift Tragic Loss: Taylor Swift’s Beloved Teacher Passed Away on Her Wedding Day to Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift celebrated her wedding day with Travis Kelce, but it turned into a day of sorrow as her favorite teacher passed away.
On July 3, the same day Taylor married the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, The Telegraph reported that Kirk Schwabe succumbed to cancer.
Before becoming an educator at Hendersonville High School in Nashville, Schwabe served as a police officer in Chicago. He taught criminal justice to Taylor from 2004 to 2006, according to The Telegraph.
Schwabe built a strong bond with Taylor and her family. In 2009, when her career began to rise, they entrusted him as her personal security guard. He stepped away from teaching to support the 14-time Grammy Award winner, dedicating long hours to her safety.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Schwabe revealed that he eventually left the security role due to exhaustion, but he maintained a deep affection for Taylor, referring to her as a “superstar.”
Although he could not attend her wedding, Schwabe expressed his belief that Taylor made a wise choice in marrying Travis, praising her judgment. His wife, Jane, noted that Schwabe treated Taylor as if she were one of his own daughters.
Schwabe was 69 years old at the time of his passing.
Rest in peace.
