In light of the World Boxing Association’s (WBA) recent reconsideration of Jake Paul‘s ranking, Bryce Hall asserts that the initial decision was correct. He conveyed to TMZ Sports that El Gallo truly deserves the acclaim and recognition, particularly as he is engaged in bouts against boxing legends.
This week, we had the opportunity to converse with the popular TikTok star, actor, and aspiring fighter at Sweet Butter Kitchen located in Los Angeles. This discussion came shortly after the WBA publicly announced its decision to rank Paul at No. 14 following his recent victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., which has sparked various opinions across the boxing community.
The ranking of Jake Paul is currently facing scrutiny and is under review due to backlash from various quarters, including fellow cruiserweight Craig Parker. Parker expressed his discontent with the ranking system, stating, “it felt like a slap in the face,” highlighting the ongoing debate about legitimacy and fairness in boxing rankings.
Bryce Hall considers this backlash to be unwarranted, particularly when recognizing that Jake Paul boasts significant victories over renowned fighters such as Mike Tyson, Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and Nate Diaz, all of whom are respected within the boxing and MMA communities. Hall believes these achievements should not be dismissed lightly.
In his own words, Hall stated, “I think Jake Paul deserves it. He’s stepping into the ring and challenging formidable opponents. It’s irrelevant who he chooses to fight; the fact remains that he is actively competing against high-caliber fighters.”

Hall further emphasized, “He’s stepping into the ring, taking on opponents, and knocking them down. His resilience and determination in the sport are commendable.”
Bryce Hall also pointed out that Jake Paul’s participation in boxing is attracting a new demographic of fans to the sport, which is incredibly beneficial. This influx of new viewers is significantly boosting revenue for boxing events, thus increasing interest and investment in the sport overall.

Hall is also eager to carve out a successful boxing career for himself. In 2021, he faced off against Austin McBroom, and in 2023, he participated in a bare-knuckle match against Gee Perez, showcasing his commitment to the sport.
Earlier this year, there was a planned fight between Hall and Kimbo Slice Jr, but unfortunately, the match was canceled when his opponent withdrew. This has left Hall and his fans eager for future matchups.
We inquired whether he still harbors interest in facing Kimbo Jr. in the ring. Be sure to check out the clip to discover his thoughts on the matter!
