Nara Smith Shares Devastating News About Whimsy Lou’s Cancer Diagnosis
Smith gained fame through her engaging TikTok videos, where she showcases her culinary skills by preparing meals from scratch. On Wednesday, July 1, she delivered the heavy news to her followers via a video on Instagram and other social media platforms.
“There’s no easy way to say this or to talk about any of this,” she started. “But late last year, our daughter Whimsy was diagnosed with cancer.”
Nara revealed that her maternal instincts led her to suspect Whimsy’s illness was cancer even before the pediatrician confirmed it.
“When we noticed something concerning, we rushed her to the ER, but they were unsure how to proceed. The moment we visited our pediatrician, I remember him becoming very quiet and calm… My heart sank. I can’t tell if it was my intuition or a mother’s instinct, but deep down, I felt that she had cancer.”
The devoted mother of four shared that Whimsy immediately commenced chemotherapy treatments. She noted that the diagnosis and the responsibility of caring for her family have contributed to her reduced activity on social media. Whimsy’s current health status remains uncertain.
