As per SEJ:
“YouTube’s advice system is designed to attach viewers with content material they may probably get pleasure from and have interaction with. If a channel steadily deletes movies, it disrupts the viewer’s expertise and makes it more durable for the algorithm to evaluate the channel’s worth precisely.”
Although as Beaupre notes, it may additionally relate extra on to the mapping of content material throughout the platform, in the identical means that Google considers an internet site’s sitemap, and the way all of its pages join, when rating content material.
In different phrases, YouTube’s algorithm is connecting the dots between every add, and once you take a kind of dots away, it removes a puzzle piece, which may scale back your total channel rating.
Technicalities apart, the underside line is that you just shouldn’t delete YouTube movies if you wish to maximize attain.
