Yaya Mayweather Expresses Frustration Over NBA YoungBoy’s Rumored Trip to Paris
On Sunday (May 10), rumors circulated through Align With Nae, suggesting that NBA YoungBoy was spotted at Disneyland Paris with a woman named Jada Marie and her daughter. The post that Jada shared included the message, “Happy Mother’s Day,” leading many fans to speculate about the rapper’s possible presence at the park during this family outing.
In light of these rumors, Yaya Mayweather decided to pause her Mother’s Day celebrations to voice her feelings. Seemingly addressing NBA YoungBoy, who is the father of her son Kentrell Jr., she tweeted, “Once again you are playing stepdad, taking a groupie h and her child to Paris, while your son hasn’t seen you since you’ve been in Paris and even months before that… mind you he’s been in Paris for months.”
Yaya further expressed her feelings by stating, “This the sh* I have to deal with on Mother’s Day, you sorry a* b**.”
In a series of tweets, Yaya articulated her confusion about how someone could be involved with another person’s child while neglecting their own. She emphasized that regardless of the occasion, she would always advocate for her child’s well-being and make her voice heard.
In a reportedly deleted tweet, she also expressed, “You haven’t even known this girl for a whole year. You then bought this b*tch a house in Utah & are taking care of this h*e and her kid… but don’t even show up for your own child mentally, physically, emotionally, or financially. That’s the part that will never make sense to me.”
Community Reactions to Yaya Mayweather’s Outburst
A wide array of responses emerged under The Shade Room Teens as fans reacted to Yaya Mayweather’s statements. While some expressed frustration at her repetitive rants, others believed she deserved compassion. Some commenters pointed out that Yaya was aware of NBA YoungBoy’s past relationships and responsibilities, while others defended her right to express her feelings.
Instagram user @jay_truth95 commented, “Sorry, I don’t feel bad for her at all. She knew that he had several children whose lives he wasn’t active in before she decided to have one.🤷🏾♀️”
Instagram user @itsaneyah noted, “Last time she did this, she came back and apologized.”
Meanwhile, Instagram user @shnook_ stated, “Idgaf. She’s not wrong.”
Instagram user @chweescake added, “You all think NBA YoungBoy can do no wrong 😂 it’s sad.”
Instagram user @lyУУУууd_94 remarked, “Ya’ll begged her to get a clue lmao, now ya’ll are upset because she actually did.”
Instagram user @alaya_lay23 mentioned, “YB all you had to do was text her Happy Mother’s Day 😭😭😭😭😩”
Instagram user @_poraaofficial expressed, “I don’t even think it’s about the child at this point… damn if he does, damn if he doesn’t with this situation.”
Instagram user @solivagantseoul added, “Mind you this isn’t just about HER, this is about the CHILD. Kids deserve love and attention from both of their parents!!! Yes, it’s Mother’s Day and it’s about her, but that baby made her a mother, so it’s really about the child as well.”
What Has NBA YoungBoy Been Up To Since Completing the ‘MASA’ Tour and Taking a Break from Social Media?
Although NBA YoungBoy’s current location remains unconfirmed publicly, he has maintained a low profile since the conclusion of his ‘MASA Tour.’ Back in March, the rapper made an appearance during Paris Fashion Week, where he donned all black alongside his wife Jazlyn Mychelle following the birth of their third child together.
He subsequently deactivated his social media accounts amid ongoing complexities involving the mothers of his children. Since that time, he has primarily engaged with fans through his theatrical releases titled ‘American YoungBoy.’ These screenings offered followers a glimpse into how he balances his roles as a rapper, father, and performer. Some theater events even transformed into lively celebrations with fans singing and dancing along to his lyrics.
The rapper was also scheduled to headline the Rolling Loud festival on Sunday, May 10. However, just before the festival date, he released a statement indicating his need for a break from traveling and performing.
A message issued via his team’s Instagram account read, “Lil Top, to my Rolling Loud family, I won’t be making it this time. I just need some time away from traveling and performing right now. Love to everybody supporting me, I’ll forever appreciate y’all!”
As a result, Rolling Loud enlisted rapper Ken Carson as a replacement headliner for the event.
