While you don’t need to be an expert in every subject we cover, a solid familiarity with consumer technology is essential. These positions are entry-level, making them ideal for those with a genuine passion for technology, even if you lack extensive professional experience or formal education.
Engadget strictly prohibits the use of AI in content creation. Writers must have a strong command of the English language and the ability to craft accurate, engaging, and informative articles without AI assistance.
If you’re human, you’ll collaborate with some of the most experienced professionals in tech journalism. Our news and features teams provide a consistent flow of daily assignments, ensuring that you will always have fresh content to work on. After you have completed a few assignments, you will have the freedom to pitch and develop your own story ideas as well.
Engadget operates entirely remotely, with our diverse team spread across four continents. We welcome writers from any time zone. Compensation is available either on an hourly basis or per word, with rates varying based on experience. All time spent working with Engadget, including training and trials, will be compensated.
