They could not look as majestic as herds of elephants or flocks of migrating birds, but as these photographs attest, there’s extraordinary splendor to be uncovered in moss springtails and slime molds. Existence is just as dramatic at a smaller sized sized scale, and, like in the macro whole globe, drinking water is significant to survival.
