In an interview with Netflix’s Tudum, the director of The Curse of Bridge Hollow, Jeff Wadlow, talked about Marlon Wayans starring as Sydney’s (Priah Ferguson) dad in the film. Wadlow said, “I think he played a father on TV, but this might be his first film where he is playing a father,” he says. “And I love that he’s just embracing that and that his audience travels with him through each phase of his life.”
