Summer season Games Fest kicks off this week, with its titular game showcase beginning Friday. Count on a string of SGF events, livestreams, YouTube trailers to follow… and possibly a Silksong update. Please? We’ll be reporting reside from LA, providing our thoughts and impressions of a lot of of the games at the occasion — specifically if we get to play any of them.
We break down each occasion ideal right here, but the most significant events consist of the Summer season Game Fest Reside on Friday June 7 at 5PM ET, the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday June 9, 1PM ET and Ubisoft Forward Monday June ten, 3PM ET. Wait, was there anything else on that day? . But we can speak about that later in the week, OK?

Intuitive battles with titans that could squish you.
Skydance’s Behemoth is an action-adventure game that draws on the combat and physics of The Walking Dead games but focuses far more on fighting and significantly less on survival. Even though some components of the demo created me really feel a small queasy, operating and evading a colossal monster didn’t. Perhaps since I focused on a single objective — the giant monster — I felt… fine. Like SatC and current Zelda games, you can scale this behemoth (if there’s the ideal texture of climbable surface). The game is coming to Meta Quest headsets, PSVR2 and Computer this fall.

A group of present and former workers from major AI businesses, like OpenAI, Google DeepMind and Anthropic, has signed an open letter asking for higher transparency and protection from retaliation for these who speak out about the prospective issues of AI. It says: “Broad confidentiality agreements block us from voicing our issues, except to the quite businesses that might be failing to address these challenges.”
In a statement sent to Bloomberg, an OpenAI spokesperson stated the organization is proud of its “track record offering the most capable and safest AI systems.”
