Former President Donald Trump is now on TikTok, a transfer he introduced it in an unsurprisingly weird way.
TikTok is reportedly prepping a U.S. edition of its algorithm
In a film posted on to TikTok on Saturday from the verified account @realDonaldTrump, UFC CEO Dana White introduced Trump, saying “The president is now on TikTok.”
“It is my honor,” Trump mentioned, which is really odd thinking about the politician and convicted felon attempted to ban the app when he was in business enterprise. The relaxation of the film pans across diverse shots of the crowd at the UFC fight in Newark, New Jersey to the tune of “American Lousy Ass” by Youngster Rock.

“The campaign is enjoying on all fields,” an adviser to Trump’s advertising campaign informed Politico. “Finding equipped to do outreach on many platforms and outlets is important and this is just 1 of lots of methods we’re heading to attain out to voters. TikTok skews toward a much more youthful viewers.”
Each equally presidential candidates — Trump and President Joe Biden — have attempted to ban the application. In April, Biden signed a bill into regulation that could appropriately ban TikTok in the U.S. except if ByteDance, TikTok’s Chinese father or mother business, sells its shares in the application. When Trump was in business enterprise, he issued an executive order to quit new prospects from downloading TikTok, but courts blocked his attempts.
Regardless of this, each equally Biden and Trump’s campaigns are on the application on their personal.
