After years of enjoying hypercompetent males who usually save the world, Tom Cruise has jumped ship from Paramount over to Warner Bros. to…play a hypercompetent man who will save the world.
On Friday, Deadline offered a short plot synopsis for Cruise’s upcoming, presently untitled film he’s making with Alejandro G. Iñàrritu. Based on the outlet, the movie focuses on “probably the most highly effective man on the earth,” and after unleashing a catastrophe on the world, it falls to him to show his price and cease it. That’s a really ominous premise, most of all as a result of it’s unclear what stated devastation is and whether or not or not he totally meant to place it out on the earth within the first place.
