Amazon Cuts Timothy Busfield From Upcoming Rom-Com!
Published
Timothy Busfield has been removed from an upcoming Amazon MGM film due to serious allegations of child sex abuse against him, as reported by TMZ.
A reliable source has informed TMZ that the movie titled “You Deserve Each Other” has already been filmed. Consequently, Busfield will need to be digitally edited out of various scenes.
The romantic comedy features stars such as Penn Badgley, Meghann Fahy, Justin Long, Natalie Morales, and Ana Gasteyer. However, the release date remains unannounced.
This development follows Busfield’s recent dismissal by his agents at Innovative Artists, which occurred just last week.
Busfield faces accusations of sexually abusing two minors while directing them on the set of “The Cleaning Lady.” These claims are based on the testimonies of the children’s parents, Angele LaSalle and Ronald Rodis.
Busfield claims that Angele and Ronald fabricated their accusations as revenge after their sons were replaced in 2024. He further alleges that both individuals have questionable pasts and should not be trusted.
The former “West Wing” actor turned himself in to law enforcement in New Mexico earlier this month. He continues to deny all allegations against him.
