This might be helpful – TikTok is apparently presenting a brand-new choice that’ll allow you to download your TikTok video clips without a watermark, so you can utilize them for alternative function.
(i.e. You can publish them to various other systems)
As you can see in this screenshot, shared by Jonah Manzano, the brand-new choice is standing for some customers in the ‘Extra choices’ food selection within the video clip upload circulation.
Individuals have actually constantly had the ‘Conserve to gadget’ choice offered, which maintains a duplicate of your video with TikTok branding. Today, you’ll additionally apparently have the ability to conserve your clip, with any kind of improvements and also modifying included, without the TikTok pen added to your upload.
Which might be terrific for re-using your clips – considered that Instagram, as an example, proactively restricts a video clip’s reach when it discovers watermarks or logo designs, as a way to hinder re-shares of TikTok clips.
That makes feeling – IG desires as much unique material in Reels, where feasible, however considered that individuals are cross-posting anyhow, utilizing their rugged clips as the base in each application, it simply includes a lot more manual labor to optimize your chances.
Perhaps that’s why TikTok’s currently seeking to allow it go, and also allow individuals re-use their TikTok clips nonetheless they could desire. Well worth keeping in mind, also, that Instagram just just recently included the choice to download and install openly published Reels clips, full with a Reels watermark.
It makes good sense that the systems are seeking to keep possession where they can, and also fight re-shares of the exact same things over and also over once more – however as kept in mind, it additionally simply includes even more modifying job, considered that we understand makers are mosting likely to re-post the exact same material.
And also perhaps, TikTok additionally sees this as a possibility to display even more of its modifying functions, in video clips that have actually been made in its application. If individuals can after that check out those clips on various other systems, that could motivate them to examine exactly how they might make use of the exact same modifying functions, which might bring them back to TikTok.
That might be an extra sensible strategy, also if it irritates various other systems in re-sharing.
