This guide provides detailed instructions on a variety of features, including voice notes, the use of GIFs, engaging polls, post editing capabilities, scheduling options (now available to all users), and cross-posting to Instagram. Additionally, it elaborates on the app’s advanced search functionalities, enabling users to find content that aligns with their interests.

For instance, did you know that you can share custom feeds directly within the app? This feature can significantly personalize your experience and help you stay connected with content that matters most to you.
The guide also outlines essential details regarding the app’s algorithm, highlighting the most impactful actions that users can take to optimize their experience and content visibility.
“Your ‘like’ activity is utilized to suggest similar content that aligns with your preferences, ensuring that what you see in your For You feed is tailored to you based on a variety of signals, including interactions with accounts and posts from both Threads and Instagram.”
While I personally find it concerning that your Threads experience is currently linked to your Instagram activity, it’s worth noting that many users operate both platforms differently. However, the Threads team is actively working to create a clearer distinction between the two experiences over time.
Additionally, Threads offers a comprehensive algorithm overview on its creator tips page, detailing the key factors that influence content visibility and engagement, allowing creators to strategize effectively.
