She reconnects with her loyal follower, Hermione, as they embark on a quest for a perilous book that possesses the ability to eradicate all evil, including vampires like themselves. Their journey takes them through Vienna’s stunning historical landmarks, enlisting the help of the countess’s melancholic vegetarian vampire nephew and his psychotherapist as they extend their search into Bohemia. Meanwhile, a duo of vampirologists and a police inspector pursue them relentlessly.

Thoughts on A Nightmare on Elm Street and Adam Wingard’s New Project
In a recent interview with Dread Central, Adam Wingard, director of Onslaught, expressed his uncertainty about the possibility of continuing the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise without Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger. He mentioned that he is developing another project that is reminiscent of the franchise.
When they made that announcement, I pondered what could be done with A Nightmare on Elm Street, particularly with a new actor portraying Freddy Krueger. To be honest, I couldn’t think of a viable direction. Strangely enough, I am working on another project that aligns with that idea, so I’m not entirely sure.
If someone presented me with a script or concept, I’d definitely consider it because I have a deep appreciation for those films. I genuinely don’t know how a new iteration could capture the humor that Freddy Krueger brought. It seems unlikely that anyone would be bold enough to allow that. They previously attempted to make him frightening in the rather grim 2010 version. So, I remain uncertain, but I look forward to seeing how it unfolds.
