Boosie Provokes Thought on Interracial Relationships Among Successful Black Men
On Wednesday, April 16, Boosie utilized X, previously known as Twitter, to share a detailed message with his 1.3 million followers. He posed a pointed question: “WHY DO SO MANY SUCCESSFUL BLACK MEN DATE WHITE WOMEN?” This statement was not just a rhetorical question; it aimed to delve deeper into societal norms and personal preferences.
“Did YOUR ROLE MODELS DATE WHITE WOMEN?” he continued. “WERE YOU RAISED TO PREFER WHITE WOMEN? WHAT DO WHITE WOMEN OFFER THAT BLACK WOMEN DO NOT? I’VE BEEN CURIOUS ABOUT THIS FOR A WHILE. What’s the issue with Black women?”
Online Community Responds to Boosie’s Inquiry
The online community quickly began to voice their opinions in response to Boosie’s thought-provoking questions in The Shade Room’s comment section. Many users expressed their views, ranging from supportive to critical of the underlying themes in his message.

User @femmecreole91 expressed, “Not again 😩, we’re exhausted. 1) They date white women because it’s the closest they can feel to being a white man. 2) Some don’t even like their mothers… 3) They grow up not liking their skin color and face bullying… 4) Many were different and faced rejection from Black girls… 5) Some genuinely fall in love with a girl who happens to be white…”
Instagram user @tony_hefnerr stated, “Love is love; there’s nothing wrong with dating outside your race. However, where we Kings falter is in not adequately protecting OUR women during the process.”
User @sashee_porshee chimed in, “I want to know too, Boosie!”
Instagram user @pretty_brown2489 remarked, “I don’t see anyone genuinely answering the questions posed…”

Boosie Ignites Further Conversations With a Follow-Up Question
However, Boosie’s online activity didn’t stop there; he continued to stir the pot within 48 hours of his initial post. On the same day, April 16, he shared an image that was reportedly circulating, depicting a Mount Rushmore featuring the top four R&B singers, which included the legendary faces of Michael Jackson, Ne-Yo, Usher, and Chris Brown.
“THE DISRESPECT TOWARDS R.KELLY👿 IS UNACCEPTABLE! I DISLIKE HOW PEOPLE TREAT THIS MAN, SMH. I ALSO DESPISE HOW NO ONE FROM HIS ERA GIVES HIM CREDIT. I WASN’T AROUND BACK THEN, BUT I’M BEGINNING TO FEEL LIKE THE INDUSTRY WAS ENVIOUS OF R.KELLY,” he expressed passionately.
This statement prompted social media users to share their thoughts in The Shade Room’s comment section once again, leading to a fresh wave of reactions.
Instagram user @antdachamp_ humorously questioned, “Who the heck put Ne-Yo up there? 😂
User @nikkicocome added, “Remove Ne-Yo and his four girlfriends from this list!
Another user @adonis_dfetty commented, “NEYO must have made this list! 🫤”
