It is the third day of the 2024 Republican Nationwide Conference and like his late evening present contemporaries, Stephen Colbert has been recapping the main moments all week.
And by stated third day, the Late Present host wanted somewhat pizzazz, somewhat oomph, somewhat zing for his monologue.
“I’ve been watching for 3 straight nights and I’ve found that politicians might be each horrifying and boring on the identical time. It is referred to as ‘borrifying’ and the one factor that helps is very large doses of caprice,” Colbert started the present on Wednesday evening.
Cue the hand held bubble machine and Louis Cato and The Late Present Band enjoying some jaunty music.
“Every one in all these tiny bursting bubbles represents a tiny piece of my soul,” Colbert added.
