Siri assists our users in locating the information they need and accomplishing tasks efficiently. Over the past six months, we’ve made Siri more conversational, introduced innovative features like type-to-Siri and enhanced product knowledge, and integrated it with ChatGPT. We are also focused on developing a more personalized Siri that can better understand your unique context and perform tasks seamlessly within and across your applications. Although we initially anticipated a quicker launch, we now expect to roll these features out in the coming year.
The anticipated enhancements to Siri are a pivotal aspect of Apple’s vision for Apple Intelligence. Initially, the company envisioned a Siri that not only comprehends user interactions on devices but can also execute actions within various apps autonomously. To date, the enhancements released include features such as typing requests instead of using voice commands, the ability to articulate Apple product features, a new activation animation, and integration with ChatGPT.
