Shifty Shellshock‘s household and mates are ready for his grand send-off … plans for his celebration of his life are finalized, and TMZ has all of the small print.
The Crazy Metropolis frontman is being honored Aug. 11 at Academy LA … and some followers will in all probability be welcome to hitch Shifty’s members of the family in remembering him and saying goodbye.
Pasquale Rotella, CEO of Insomniac Events, is organizing the event — he’s a longtime good buddy of Shifty’s — and there are gonna be DJ items by Graham Funke, Girl Sinclair, Edski and Trixter.
Keep music could even be built-in, that features artists who labored with Shifty beforehand.
Crazy Metropolis co-founder Epic Mazur goes to be involved … he’ll be speaking on the ceremony and continues to be deciding if he must do a musical tribute to his late bandmate.
Graffiti artist buddies of Shifty could even be within the dwelling, creating murals from scratch.
The event flyer reads … “Please be a part of us to assist one another, share favorite recollections, eat & drink and rejoice the beautiful and fantastic life that launched mild into ours.”
That’s an RSVP event and on account of dimension of the venue there’ll in all probability be a cap on attendance. The event was shared with shut relations and buddies first and by no means posted giant publicly.
As we reported, 49-year-old Shifty was found ineffective last month at an L.A. residence … and his supervisor says he died from an unintentional drug overdose after mixing prescription drugs with street-purchased treatment.
