Hiram Kasten — a pressure on the New York Metropolis comedy scene within the Nineteen Seventies and ’80s who appeared on “Seinfeld” — has died.
The actor-comedian handed away Sunday after battling numerous sicknesses together with prostate most cancers … in accordance with an obituary posted to his official Fb web page.
Within the obituary, Kasten’s remembered as a hilarious comic, charming man and terrific household man who rose to fame throughout New York Metropolis’s comedy increase of the Eighties.
He met Jerry Seinfeld early on in his profession after he auditioned at The Comedian Strip, and the 2 struck up a lifelong friendship that resulted in Hiram showing on three episodes of “Seinfeld” as Elaine Benes’ coworker Michael.
