Brittany Fortinberry, a former school teacher embroiled in a scandal involving allegations of engaging in “gangbangs” with minors while adorning them in “Scream” masks, has recently been mandated by a judge to liquidate her marital residence as she remains incarcerated. In legal documents pertaining to their divorce, Fortinberry and her spouse, Nicholas, revealed their inability to sustain the financial burden of their Indiana property, where authorities assert that some of Fortinberry’s alleged illicit activities transpired. Nicholas initiated divorce proceedings in February, coinciding with the onset of police investigations into Brittany’s purported offenses, which has added to the complexity of their situation.

According to the divorce filings, the estranged couple noted their intention to utilize the monthly benefits they received from the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs to cover their expenses. However, these funds have ceased to be deposited into their shared bank account, creating further financial strain on their already precarious situation.

Fortinberry has indicated that her financial resources are now being diverted “elsewhere,” which has hindered Nicholas’s ability to access the funds. This situation has made it increasingly challenging for him to keep up with their monthly mortgage payments, contributing to the urgency of selling their home.

Earlier this year, Fortinberry faced a shocking total of 41 felony charges connected to a disturbing string of alleged sex crimes involving minors, which has drawn significant media attention and public outrage.

Brittany has been accused of sexually abusing multiple junior high school students she interacted with at two different educational institutions. Authorities allege that she would intoxicate the minors with alcohol and magic mushrooms before engaging in sexual acts with them. One particularly heinous incident reportedly involved orchestrating an orgy where the boys were made to wear masks inspired by the “Scream” movie franchise, which has horrified the community.
