After testing numerous budget wireless earbuds, I’ve encountered many that either deliver subpar sound quality, have a short lifespan, or simply won’t stay in my ears. Therefore, when I discovered that Woot, a subsidiary of Amazon, had reduced the price of the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE to just $49.99, I decided to give them a try. To my pleasant surprise, they exceeded my expectations in several ways.
First and foremost, the fit is remarkably better than I anticipated. Thanks to Samsung’s innovative wing-tip design, these earbuds stay securely in place, which is essential for anyone who has experienced the frustration of earbuds falling out during a walk or workout. Additionally, their comfort level is impressive, allowing for prolonged listening sessions without discomfort—something I’d never expect at this price range.
I can’t believe this 85-inch Hisense U7 4K TV is $900 off
The sound quality of the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE is impressive for their price point, offering a well-balanced mix of bass and clarity. Notably, they feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which—while not as effective as that found in the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro or AirPods Pro—still does a commendable job of dampening background noise. If you need to stay aware of your surroundings, the Ambient Mode allows external sounds to filter through without needing to remove the earbuds.
Another convenient feature is the Auto Switch, enabling seamless transitions between your Galaxy phone, tablet, or laptop without manual reconnection. Additionally, if you misplace your earbuds, the SmartThings Find feature can help locate them, an invaluable tool for anyone who frequently misplaces their devices.
