As reported by TMZ, the Federal Bureau of Prisons has once again delayed Diddy’s prison release date. According to Page Six, the new release date is now set for February 20, 2028. The outlet attempted to contact the bureau for clarification regarding these continual changes but has not yet received a response.

According to PEOPLE, Diddy’s legal representatives chose not to comment on the situation.

Court Approves Government’s Seizure of Diddy’s Confiscated Property

On Tuesday, August 4, TMZ released another report indicating that Diddy’s trial judge, Arun Subramanian, authorized a court order that day. The order reportedly allows the government to seize various properties belonging to Diddy.

This seized property allegedly includes a “long list of items,” such as “multiple iPhones, iPads, hard drives, and even $9,000 in cash taken from the Park Hyatt Hotel on September 16, 2024.” As The Shade Room previously noted, Diddy was arrested on that date and placed into federal custody as part of a sex trafficking investigation. federal agents raided Diddy’s residences in March 2024, confiscating various items.

The court order was reportedly signed after no timely claims were submitted against the forfeiture, according to the outlet.

Diddy’s Prison Release Date Changed Following Alleged Fight

As previously reported by The Shade Room, Diddy’s prison release date was altered last month after he allegedly engaged in a fight at Fort Dix. This incident reportedly occurred just days before July 24 and was allegedly initiated by a disagreement with another inmate.

During the incident, the 56-year-old reportedly held his own during the confrontation. following the altercation, he was placed in solitary confinement, as reported by The Shade Room.

Surprisingly, shortly after this incident, the release date was changed from February 23, 2028, to January 24, 2028.
