President Trump’s Name Removed from Kennedy Center in New Photos

Donald Trump‘s name has been officially removed from the Kennedy Center. Although the new appearance remains concealed behind scaffolding and a tarp, we are finally getting a glimpse of what lies beneath.

Take a look behind the large tarp that has obscured part of the Kennedy Center’s facade where Trump’s name previously adorned the building. Thanks to images obtained by Hands Off the Arts, we can now appreciate the iconic venue devoid of the Trump signage that sparked considerable debate.

The removal of Trump’s name was not a simple process. Following months of legal disputes, courts ruled in favor of those who claimed that the Trump-controlled board at the Kennedy Center lacked the authority to rename this renowned venue. The courts mandated the removal of Trump’s name from the building, website, and all official materials.

Although the Trump signage was taken down earlier this month, a large tarp has remained in place since the completion of the crews’ work.

While the tarp remains in place, onlookers can finally view the Kennedy Center’s updated appearance, and the large block letters spelling out Donald J. Trump are no longer visible.
