President Joe Biden voiced robust condemnation Tuesday over former President Donald Trump‘s supporters specifically comic Tony Hinchcliffe who not too long ago made a controversial “joke” that Puerto Rico was a “floating island of rubbish.”
In a video Tuesday, Biden mentioned, “Donald Trump has no character. He does not give a rattling in regards to the Latino group … simply the opposite day, a speaker at his rally known as Puerto Rico a floating island of rubbish? … The one rubbish I see floating out there may be his supporters.”

A White Home spokesman later claimed to NBC Information correspondent Gabe Gutierrez that Biden was solely referring to Hinchcliffe and never Trump’s supporters as a complete.

Trump’s marketing campaign spokesman Steven Cheung responded to Biden’s remarks on X writing, “2016: ‘Basket of deplorables’ 2024: ‘Rubbish… supporters’ Kamala and Biden HATE People and can do all the pieces to crush us in the event that they ever maintain energy once more.”
