Kochi: The Special Investigation Team probing the murder of two women in Elanthoor in an alleged human sacrifice retrieved the chats of the two more fake Facebook accounts used by Muhammed Shafi, the prime accused in the case.

The Facebook profiles were operated in the names of Sajnamol and Sreeja for his illicit businesses, reported police.

With this, the probe team found that Shafi had handled four Facebook accounts. The details of one more account are yet to be retrieved.

Meanwhile, police will continue collecting evidence in the case. On Tuesday, Police took Shafi to Chitoor Road in Kochi, where he met Padma, one of the two victims.

Laila, the third accused in the Elanthoor human sacrifice case told police that Shafi had killed one more person. Laila disclosed the matter during the interrogation here on Tuesday.
She also told police that Shafi had sold the organs of the person after the murder. The Special Investigation Team clarified that they didn’t recover any evidence to prove Laila’s statement.
