John Gaines Clarifies Dating Rumors with Kristy Scott After Sharing Photo on Instagram
This week, John Gaines took to his Instagram account to share a repost of a screenshot from a Bossip article that prominently featured a gym selfie of him alongside Kristy Scott. The article carried the headline, “KRISTY SARAH SPARKS SPECULATION SHE’S SMASHING VICTORIA MONÉT’S EX, JOHN GAINES, TO ‘GYM SESH’ SMITHEREENS WITH THIS SELFIE”, which immediately caught the attention of many.
In addition to the repost, Gaines added a thoughtful and extensive message in the caption, aiming to clarify the situation surrounding the photo.
“Normally I’d ignore something this out-of-pocket, but this is business and I take that seriously. I’ve seen the rumors circulating and I want to address them directly…..They are false,” he expressed.
In his message, Gaines elaborated on how his “training space” has been a safe and platonic environment for all his clients, emphasizing his professionalism.
“While I understand that social media can create narratives, let me be clear…. I am not in the business of mixing professional coaching with anything personal or sexual. That is not what I stand for, and it is not what my brand represents,” he added, asserting that he maintains strict “boundaries” and “integrity” in his fitness training career.
