Final week, we reported that Elon Musk has 11 youngsters, which appeared like lots on the time. Sadly, that quantity seems to be incorrect. Actually, he has one more beforehand unreported child, in accordance with a report revealed Friday by Bloomberg. The entire variety of children (that we all know of) now seems to be 12.
Bloomberg’s report, which delves deeper into Musk’s current promulgation of pronatalist concepts, notes that the tech billionaire has had not less than three youngsters with an govt at his neuroscience startup Neuralink. Till this week, solely two of these youngsters have been recognized to the general public. The Bloomberg report makes an attempt to chart Musk’s paternal “exercise,” diagramming it like so:
He’s fathered not less than 12 youngsters, six of them up to now 5 years—three with the musician Grimes and three with Neuralink Corp.’s director of particular initiatives, Shivon Zilis, together with one who hasn’t been recognized to the general public till now. That baby was born earlier this 12 months, in accordance with folks acquainted with the matter, who would solely talk about it on situation of anonymity. Zilis declined to remark, and Musk didn’t reply to inquiries.
At this level, Musk is akin to some type of medieval king whose lack of ability to maintain it in his pants has resulted in an limitless unfold of heirs and child mommas all through his fiefdom. Significantly, what number of offspring does this dude even have? The Bloomberg piece notably says that the tech billionaire has sired “not less than 12 youngsters” (emphasis mine), which doesn’t make it a very definitive quantity.
Musk has been telling anyone who will pay attention that they need to have plenty of youngsters to battle the worldwide “child bust.” That is, after all, type of a straightforward factor to inform folks if you don’t have to fret about the price of childcare as a result of you’re the richest man (or, typically, the second richest man) on Earth.
Gizmodo reached out to Neuralink and Musk for remark and can replace this story if they supply a definitive variety of child Elons operating round.
