Computex 2025 is on the verge of commencing, and the exciting wave of announcements featuring the latest innovations in chips, laptops, gaming devices, and much more from leading industry brands has already started. This highly anticipated event will take place in Taiwan, kicking off on Sunday night (US time) with a captivating keynote presentation from NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang at the Taipei Music Center. For those unable to attend this significant gathering in person, a livestream will be available for viewing, allowing you to join the excitement from anywhere (please see the embedded NVIDIA YouTube stream below).

Jensen Huang’s keynote presentation is scheduled for 11PM ET/8PM PT on May 18 (which translates to 11AM on May 19 in Taiwan Time). Attendees can anticipate insightful discussions about the company’s latest advancements in the AI sector. Following Huang’s presentation, there will be another keynote from Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon on the same day. This year’s theme at Computex revolves around the significant advancements in AI, aptly named “AI Next.” The event will showcase remarkable products across three primary categories: AI & Robotics, Next-Gen Tech, and Future Mobility.

For Huang, delivering the keynote at Computex represents a personal and professional homecoming. His roots trace back to Taiwan, where he was born before relocating to the United States. In the US, he played a crucial role in co-founding NVIDIA and spearheading its remarkable journey to becoming a leader in the AI industry. His appearance at this event caps off a whirlwind week, highlighting the increasingly complex diplomatic challenges within the AI landscape. Recently, Huang participated in discussions with President Trump during a tour of Middle Eastern nations, leading to NVIDIA securing significant agreements with tech companies in Saudi Arabia and the UAE for the sale of its AI chips. Following this, NVIDIA has chosen to downplay its previously reported expansion intentions within China.
