Netflix has launched a teaser trailer for Culinary Class Wars, a South Korean cooking competitors collection that appears like a cross between Iron Chef and MasterChef. I’m instantly obsessed.

Culinary Class Wars pits 100 cooks in opposition to one another, divided into two teams. The primary are the Black Spoons, comprised of house restaurant cooks, pub homeowners, cafeteria staff, and different humble meals business staff. They will be competing with the White Spoons, a bunch of Michelin-starred and celeb cooks who’ve already made their mark within the culinary world. Contestants shall be progressively whittled down till Culinary Class Wars can crown one of the best chef in South Korea.

“With this world Netflix launch, we wished to showcase the unbelievable range of culinary specialists in Korea,” stated co-director Kim Eun-ji. “We chosen 100 contestants with distinctive culinary philosophies, representing a variety of cuisines together with Korean, Western, Chinese language, Japanese, and fusion.”

Culinary Class Wars arrives Sept. 17 on Netflix.
