The defense’s paperwork contends that the prosecution knowingly relied on “materially false” testimony from Cassie and Bryana regarding an incident in which Diddy allegedly dangled Bryana over a 17-story balcony at Cassie’s apartment in Los Angeles. On Day 16 of the trial, Bryana took the stand and testified that shortly after Diddy unexpectedly arrived at Cassie’s apartment on September 24, 2016, he allegedly became physically aggressive. She claimed that Diddy held her over a 42-inch railing, with her feet hanging off the edge, which purportedly caused her to suffer bruising and pain. However, Diddy’s team argued that such a feat would be physically impossible given his height and build, claiming he would not be able to lift an adult woman that high. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that Bryana has filed a $10 million lawsuit against Diddy, which the defense believes could provide her with a motive to exaggerate her account of the events.
