Mandalorian and Grogu Sneak Peek for Fortnite Players on May 19

The Mandalorian and Grogu premieres in theaters this Friday, and Fortnite is excited to host a unique Watch Party Island this Tuesday to let players enjoy a sneak peek. After engaging in a series of activities, Fortnite players will have the chance to watch 10 minutes of the movie and receive a special message from director Jon Favreau. The Watch Party Island for The Mandalorian and Grogu will be available starting at 10 AM ET on May 19.

Here’s what players can expect, as explained by the Fortnite team: “Designed in collaboration with Fairview Portals and Beyond Creative, you will join as a Deputy tasked with collecting bounties, defending the city against waves of enemies, and locating Grogu. After exploring Nevarro for 20 minutes, you will unlock an exclusive Mandalorian Sanctuary loading screen!” The storyline of The Mandalorian and Grogu follows the narrative from the Disney+ series, featuring Pedro Pascal reprising his role as Din Djarin. It also introduces new characters played by Sigourney Weaver as Colonel Ward and Jeremy Allen White as Jabba the Hutt’s son, Rotta.
