Magic Johnson tells TMZ Sports activities he is loving what he is seeing from Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese up to now within the WNBA … praising the rookies for a way they’re transitioning to the professionals.
We spoke briefly with the NBA legend out in L.A. this week as he was getting hounded by autograph seekers … and he made it clear, he is a giant fan of the W’s latest stars.
He stated emphatically they’re “doing nice issues” — serving to their league explode in reputation.
As for a way they’ve dealt with among the undesirable consideration they have been getting — if you happen to missed it, Clark was bodychecked by Chennedy Carter in a recreation earlier this month, whereas Reese was slammed to the bottom by Alyssa Thomas in one other — he appreciated the way in which they’ve battled by means of all of it.
When it got here time to dole out some recommendation … Magic — who performed his total 13-year NBA profession with the Los Angeles Lakers — stated it is fairly easy … hold doin’ what you are doin’ and every part will work itself out.
“They’re doing nice issues for the league,” the five-time NBA champ stated with a thumbs up. “Caitlin’s been nice. Angel’s been nice.”
