Earlier than the clock strikes midnight tonight and the Halloween shenanigans start, we’re heading to Salem, Massachusetts and shouting out a spooky basic starring many Hollywood greats: The 1993 household/comedy movie, “Hocus Pocus!”
The Sanderson Sisters — performed by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy — had been 3 witches resurrected from the 1600s after the Black Flame Candle was lit by excessive schooler, Max Dennison (performed by Omri Katz).
The city’s children had been in peril of being sucked by the Sanderson Sisters’ life potion. Max, alongside together with his youthful sister Dani (performed by Thora Birch) and his highschool crush Allison (performed by Vinessa Shaw), had been on a mission to cease the Sanderson Sisters finally!
With the help of Thackery Binx — the boy-turned-immortal black cat (performed by Sean Murray) — and Billy the zombie (performed by Doug Jones), the Sanderson Sisters had been put to relaxation for good … in fact till they had been revived but once more in 2022 for “Hocus Pocus 2” …
