A hiker in China made a miraculous escape after taking a critically scary spill down a steep mountainside … and he captured the entire heart-stopping ordeal on his personal digital camera.
Yang Meng was filming his trek by means of the Fanzengjian Mountains in Anhui, about 280 miles west of Shanghai, when catastrophe struck — and his hand-held 360-degree digital camera caught him shedding his footing and plummeting backward down the freshly storm-lashed mountainside.
The near-death plunge down the slick mountain was nothing wanting hair-raising — Yang slips and slides at a wild angle for what looks like perpetually, till a tree all of a sudden breaks his fall, saving him from changing into a human avalanche.
Miraculously, Yang walked away from the wild experience with only a few bruises on his leg and a few minor cuts on his hand and thigh — speak about a fortunate break!
He instructed CNN he feels fortunate to be alive after that tumble — however as a substitute of scaring him off mountaineering, it simply sparked his international wanderlust much more.

For all you fellow thrill-seekers on the market, take Yang’s spill as a cautionary story — possibly skip the mountain hikes proper after a storm!
