According to NewsNation, Attorney Edward Andrew Paltzik is refuting claims regarding his clients, Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour. Paltzik asserts that none of the three men accessed or deleted any messages from Nolan Wells’ phone. He elaborated on these allegations in an interview with TMZ, stating, “Warren, Jax, and Morgan did not erase anything and never had access to his phone.” He further emphasized, “If anything was erased, they didn’t do it.”
Tyler Cox, another attorney representing Hudson, Pitalo, and Seymour, mentioned that a woman from their group collected the phones left on the boat, including Nolan’s, and placed them in a truck.
“The phones remained there until Christine’s friend arrived to retrieve Nolan’s phone,” Cox stated, referring to Wells’ mother. “The same girl in the group took the phone from the truck and handed it to Christine’s friend around 1:30 a.m.,” Cox explained.
Now, both attorneys intend to file a defamation lawsuit against Ben Crump. This potential legal action follows forensic examiner Andrew Garret’s discovery that someone deleted messages from Nolan’s phone. Garret noted that these deletions occurred after Wells last used the device on July 4 and before his family retrieved it.

Forensic expert Andrew Garret also detailed the data retrieved from Nolan’s phone. He reported that investigators found over 300 Snapchat messages exchanged between Nolan and his friends. The analysis of this data required more than 30 hours of work. The legal team also presented a video showcasing Nolan’s phone movements on July 4, along with his Snapchat activity. This data suggested that his phone remained on the boat throughout the day before returning to shore with the group of teenagers. Garret mentioned that the Snapchat data raised further concerns. His analysis indicated that someone deleted Snapchat data from Nolan’s phone before his family got the device back.

Ben Crump also focused on the official autopsy findings for Nolan Wells conducted in Mississippi. The report revealed that Nolan had “two dark red-purple” lacerations on the back of his head prior to his death. examiners found no evidence of water in his throat or lungs. These findings have raised critical questions regarding the circumstances of Nolan’s death, especially following a grand jury’s conclusion that it was an accidental drowning.
