Minutes after Twitter shareholders voted on Tuesday to approve Elon Musk’s $44 billion buyout deal, the Tesla chief took to the same micro-blogging platform to revamp his user profile.

Musk has become ‘Naughtius Maximus’ on Twitter as the battle over $44 billion bid intensifies. The world’s richest man did not only change his username, but also changed his profile picture and user description on the platform.

The SpaceX CEO’s updated description on Twitter now reads: “Centurion in Jerusalem Garrison”. Musk also changed his display image to a picture from his childhood.

As per definitions available on Urban Dictionary, the word ‘Naughtius Maximus’ is used to describe a person who displays violent or anti-social behaviour, especially a child. In simple terms, the word is basically used for someone who has an antisocial personality with a mischievous attitude.

The 51-year-old decided to revamp his Twitter profile after the vote came as his legal team is in a court, battling to get the businessman out of the deal. Meanwhile, Twitter has sued Musk for allegedly breaching the deal agreement.

Musk also made a series of tweets as he took sly but not so subtle digs at Twitter.

Following the assent to the deal by Twitter shareholders, a US judge on Wednesday gave a lifeline to Musk by allowing him to amend his complaint against the tech company but rejected delaying the lawsuit over the disintegration of the billionaire’s deal to acquire the social media company.

The businessman’s attorneys had requested to amend his counterclaims after a whistleblower filed a complaint about Twitter’s security practices.

Twitter whistleblower Peiter Zatko told the US Congress Tuesday that the platform ignored his security concerns, in testimony that came as company shareholders greenlit Elon Musk’s $44 billion takeover deal.

As the Internet started buzzing with the news around the whistleblower, Musk also weighed in.

The businessman also later complained about being “suppressed” on Twitter as he dragged CEO Parag Agrawal in the conversation.
