Domingo’s Exciting Comeback: A Highlight of the Season makes his triumphant return just 4 episodes later.
If you’re not caught up, Saturday Night Live‘s memorable bridesmaid speech, set to Sabrina Carpenter‘s catchy “Espresso,” reveals the shocking twist that the bride has been cheating on her husband with Marcello Hernandez’s charismatic character, Domingo. This skit went mega-viral, catapulting Domingo into the spotlight and making him a fan favorite among the audience. The clever writing and comedic timing resonated with viewers, showcasing the show’s ability to blend humor with relevant cultural commentary.
The show wasted no time in bringing Domingo back, along with the eclectic cast of characters that made the original sketch a hit. In a clever twist, the entire gag of the “Espresso” spoof is revisited, but this time the setting is a baby shower. The sketch takes a humorous turn as it riffs on Chappell Roan‘s “HOT TO GO!” creating a delightful blend of nostalgia and fresh comedy that keeps the audience entertained.
Prepare yourself to have the catchy phrase “D-O-M-I-N-G-O” stuck in your head for days. The infectious nature of the sketch combined with the vibrant performances ensures that this comedic moment will become a memorable highlight of the season.
