TikTok has revealed an enhancement to its partner program that will categorize partners into two distinct tiers to emphasize their expertise on the platform.
This revamped agency partner framework will assign each partner either an Agency Partner badge or a Premier Agency Partner badge. These designations aim to accurately reflect the organization’s level of expertise and proven understanding of TikTok advertising.

According to TikTok: “The Agency Partner badge signifies a recognized standard of excellence, awarded to qualified agencies that exhibit outstanding performance, operational capability, and certified team knowledge.”
On the other hand, the Premier Agency Partner badge is described as “a prestigious accolade” only granted to a select group of top-performing partners globally.
“As the pinnacle of recognition within the agency program, Premier status honors partners that consistently showcase excellence on TikTok through measurable business outcomes, extensive platform knowledge, and a steadfast commitment to TikTok-first marketing,” TikTok stated.
The enhanced badge system is intended to offer clearer insight into TikTok marketing advisors, assisting marketers in selecting the right agency for their needs.
Both certifications, according to TikTok, provide assurance that an agency has fulfilled its partnership criteria.
“Whether partnering with a certified Agency Partner to launch and scale performance campaigns or collaborating with a Premier Agency Partner for a specialized large-scale activation, brands can move forward with complete confidence, knowing they are engaging with vetted, high-performing platform experts,” TikTok mentioned.
Since its launch in 2020, TikTok’s Agency Partner program has expanded to include over 600 approved partners across various disciplines, including creative services, marketing technology, and analytics.
