Auburn suffered its third straight and fourth overall loss of the season against Ole Miss Saturday.
Auburn fell behind 21-0 but stormed back before ultimately losing 48-34 to the Rebels.
The Tigers were led by star running back Tank Bigsby, who rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns in his best game of the season.
However, the Tigers were unable to stop the Rebel’s ground game, allowing 448 yards rushing and causing the doubt surrounding Bryan Harsin’s future at Auburn to continue to build heading into the bye week.
While the Auburn fans are becoming accustomed to losses under Harsin, they still took to Twitter to air out their grievances with the game. Here are the best reactions.
Sure the loss is annoying but the offense showed something and with a competent head coach we may have something

Auburn’s given up 717 rushing yards over the past two games.

here’s something: despite running for 327 yards today, 56% of Auburn’s rushing attempts were still stopped for 2 or fewer yards, per Game On Paper
extreme case of feast or famine today

Auburn has tied a school record for most games allowing 40+ points in a season (3).

What’s better than the pain and anguish of Auburn football? Delayed pain and anguish of Auburn football!

How did Robby Ashford step out there? That’s so Auburn it hurts.

There were glimmers of hope with @AuburnFootball at Ole Miss but it still comes down to a lack of coaching. It wouldn’t surprise me if the players took over the play-calling when Auburn started to shine.

Here’s a reminder that Derek Mason, Mike Bobo, and Bo Nix are a combined 16-1 since leaving Bryan Harsin. #WarEagle

It’s mostly talent but not coaching, but it’s still cool how when Lane Kiffin finds the buttons that make the machine go [boom] he presses them until they break

An INT on a screen is so special. Not a lot can make that throw.

One thing about Auburn: By not firing Harsin yet, the situation has flipped from, “well, maybe that’d be a bit quick” to “holy hell, get on with it already.” They’ve shown this guy *a ton of patience* even in this zombie season

Imagine transferring from Kansas to Auburn and somehow ending up on the worse of the two teams

Do Gus and Bo still get the blame or nah

Ole Miss has beaten Auburn five times in the modern era of CFB (BCS onward). Twice Auburn has fired a coach that season (‘08, ‘12), and one of those was a coach they poached from the Rebels.

God has intervened for Auburn/Ole Miss, as is tradition.

@tank_bigsby I see in my players eyes sadness and frustration. I know this isn’t the year any of you envisioned, but I appreciate you all so much for not transferring. That would have been the easiest response to a horrific off season. You are true Auburn men. Thank you!
