Annapurna Interactive simply revealed that its beloved cyberpunk cat simulator Stray can be released for the Nintendo Switch on November 19. We knew this was coming, and now we have now an official date. Additionally, it’s no coincidence that Annapurna made this announcement on Worldwide Cat Day.
This was one in every of our favourite video games of 2022, and for good cause. It’s a captivating little journey through which you management a cute cat because it navigates a cyberpunk dystopia. The sport has been an enormous hit for Annapurna and, as such, has slowly crawled onto nearly each platform on the market. The Change is just about the ultimate frontier, because it’s already out there for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Collection X/S, PC and even Mac.
There’s one feline-shaped elephant (?) within the room. The Nintendo Change was already just about outdated, {hardware} sensible, again when it was launched in 2017. Now, it’s positively historic. It stays to be seen how properly the sport will run on the Change and what kind of trade-offs the builders needed to make so as get it in respectable form. Some devs can strike gold on the Change and others, properly, not so much.
Writer Annapurna hasn’t introduced a value but. Stray sometimes sells for anyplace from $18 to $30, relying on the platform. This being a Change port, it’ll most likely fall on the upper finish of that spectrum.
