A viral video that has circulated widely shows streamer Bonnie Rabbit appearing to say the N-word during her livestream on Saturday, September 19. In this footage, Bonnie seems to read a comment from her chat that contains the racial slur. She repeats the word, then reacts by saying “oh” and covering her mouth. After a brief moment, she laughs and mentions that she intends to end the stream. The camera momentarily goes black, but she quickly returns to continue her broadcast.
“That was a mistake. I’m sorry. I feel bad,” Bonnie expresses.
In a follow-up statement, she clarified that she does not casually use the slur or say it off-stream.
“I don’t say it casually, I don’t say it off stream … I’m not sitting here ripping it,” she stated.
As the video continued to circulate, another clip resurfaced showing Bonnie using the slur while riding in a car with fellow streamer Cinna. In this video, the two appear to be singing along to Drake’s ‘Marvin’s Room’ when Bonnie seemingly says the N-word. Cinna pauses the music, and Bonnie reportedly claims she said “new guy,” asserting that was the lyric in the edited version.

The 17-year-old creator expressed his views on the matter, stating:
“Anyone associated with @bonnierabbit please let me know now. As a Black creator, I don’t find this funny at all. Those words should never come out of your mouth, especially when you know you’re not supposed to say them. But at least we know your character now. It’s okay — the truth always reveals itself,” Wardrobe wrote.
