Alannah Keyser Issues an Apology After Leaving ‘Love Island USA’
On Saturday, June 28, Alannah Keyser took to TikTok for the first time to address the uproar. The 21-year-old Casa Amor star expressed her remorse after a video surfaced showing her using the n-word while singing along to Roddy Ricch’s hit track, “The Box.”
“I’m sorry to anyone who has seen that video and felt hurt by it. It was never my intention. That video is from six years ago, and that word is no longer part of my vocabulary,” she stated.
Keyser emphasized that she does not condone racism or any form of discrimination. She described the experience as a significant learning moment, sharing that discovering the resurfaced video while still in the villa “really broke my heart.” She also conveyed her disappointment at not having the chance to fully express who she is to the audience.
“When I first learned that these things were circulating online, it truly broke my heart,” she mentioned. “This has been a substantial learning lesson for me, and it’s unfortunate that I didn’t get to showcase my true personality and who I am.”
In closing her statement, Keyser addressed what she termed “falsified” screenshots that have been circulating on social media. She clarified that these alleged messages do not represent her character and firmly denied any discriminatory behavior based on skin color.

In her apology video caption, Keyser also tackled another subject that has sparked online debate since her exit. Some viewers accused her of intentionally avoiding kisses with Casa Amor cast members KC, Sincere, and Corbin, all of whom are Black, during a kissing challenge on the show.
In response to this speculation, Keyser suggested that viewers might not have seen the complete context due to the editing of the series.
“Keep in mind that reality TV is HEAVILY edited, and my interactions and kisses with the other boys unfortunately didn’t make it to air,” she explained.
Her remarks reignited discussions across social media, with many fans continuing to scrutinize her actions on the show while others shared their thoughts on her apology.
