Why blueberry pie, you might ask? The reply lies in Heretic‘s first spooky trailer. The movie, directed by A Quiet Place writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, sees Mormon missionaries Sister Barnes (Yellowjackets‘ Sophie Thatcher) and Sister Paxton (The Fabelmans‘ Chloe East) go to the house of the kindly seeming Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant). At first, the younger girls are hesitant to enter Reed’s home, as they want a girl current. He assures them that his spouse is simply within the kitchen, baking some blueberry pie.
However when Barnes and Paxton uncover that the scrumptious scent of blueberry pie is simply the results of a scented candle, they will notice that Mr. Reed is rather more devious than he initially appeared — and he has a horrifying sequence of trials that may check their religion deliberate for them.

To scent alongside to Heretic with Paxton and Barnes, head to Alamo Drafthouse theaters on Oct. 30 for the movie’s one-night-only scented screenings. The screenings are the results of a partnership between A24 and Joya Studio, which can also be behind A24’s scented Style Candles.
