Dr. Mark Chavez, certainly one of two physicians busted within the Perry case, was arraigned Friday afternoon in a federal courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.
He appeared along with his lawyer, and Choose Jean Rosenbluth instructed Chavez he may stay free on bond with restrictions, in response to the Related Press. Chavez agreed to give up his passport, and to not work as a health care provider.

Friday, Chavez did not enter his responsible plea — which he’ll do with a unique choose on a future undetermined date, in response to the AP.
He is dealing with as much as 10 years in jail … and it will likely be attention-grabbing to see how the choose sentences him in mild of the plea deal.
Dr. Chavez is certainly one of three who took plea offers right here … becoming a member of Matthew’s assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, and Erik Fleming, who prosecutors say helped dealer the drug offers.

The opposite two charged within the case … Dr. Salvador Plasencia and Jasveen Sangha, AKA “The Ketamine Queen,” appeared in courtroom earlier this month and pleaded not responsible.
Dr. Chavez and Dr. Plasencia had their registrations to jot down prescriptions pulled after their arrests.
